Reflections- Vietnam War 45 Years Later series is an eclectic fusion of styles; combining representational, surrealism and experimental modernism. The use of symbolism is interwoven among the war series paintings depicting pain, suffering and death associated with all war, especially the Vietnam War, lacking support from society. It is based upon the artist Mr. Jerry Domask’s personal observations and shared conversations with fellow comrades-in-arms and a former POW, Ted Gostas. He explored his past experiences during and after the Vietnam War to better understand them on a personal level, and to put them in context from a historical perspective reflecting back 45 years.

Exhibit Dates: August 20 to December 7
