The Student Arts Market (S.A.M.) is a fundraiser for the Rotary International
Clean Water Project in Honduras! It will bring the atmosphere of Art walk on
campus and we want you to be there!
The Rotaract club is organizing S.A.M. on Thursday, January
24th, 2013 at the student union plaza. We want all student
merchants, artists, photographers, and musicians to come out to display, sell
and showcase their talents! UNF clubs are more than welcome to table at the
event as well.
There is a small suggested donation of $10 for all
tabling individuals; in addition to this, we encourage vendors and clubs to
donate a percentage of their profits to the Clean Water Project. Vendors who
opt to donate a percentage will receive a sign for their table displaying the
percentage that they are planning to donate, thus enticing more sales for their
table. Tables will be provided for merchants and clubs, and a stage will be
provided for musical performers. Performers ARE allowed to accept tips and
should bring some sort of container (i.e. a guitar case or basket) for people
to drop tips in.
This is a great opportunity for networking with
customers and getting feedback about your craft. There will be representatives
from the MOCA at the event.
